This website is for developing ideas and practical solutions to help bring forward a true [[post-scarcity age]] and everything that enables.

The basis for this vision of the next phase of civilisation has been knocking around in my head since 2000/01 and I thought it was time I wrote it down semi-coherently to distill my thoughts, help give the concepts wider exposure, and to link to others who are working on ideas in a similar space.

A wiki seemed an obvious choice as it is an easy way to evolve a website, and if at some point I get a critical mass of information on it and the vision strikes a chord then other people can easily come and join me to help make this a significant resource on the subject, as an open project.

What AdCiv.org is and isn't

AdCiv is not intended as a general wiki on the topic of post-scarcity, nor is it to be an inclusive directory of any/every organisation that claims to be related to post-scarcity in some way - however we are of course be happy to link to those that are particularly relevant.
