Might argue that economics becomes a matter of raw materials and energy. But if they are both more abundant than we could ever make use of...
Need to investigate the impact of this social revolution on economics. Also about responsibility that those directing the revolution might/should adopt. Considering minor changes at any level in the global economic balancing act can have devastating effects for some (esp in developing world), imaging the effects this revolution could have. The very survival of some communities depend on the material greed of others. Even if the ensuing over-abundance could be shared out evenly - how do we implement guarantess?
